Term 2 Reflection
Hi, its me, Rosie. This term we (the class) we had lots of stuff going on ,E.G Retro tech, Trips to far away lands (just kidding) ,courses, swimming sports, anzac day and weeding at the Hamanatua stream. I especially enjoyed the East Coast Museum of Technology. Here are some slides about it:
REFUGEE
In my reading group, we are reading a book called Refugee. It is an interesting and nerve wracking book but our teacher has been feeding it out so we are only allowed a certain amount of pages each week so we don't get ahead of everyone else in the group. I am looking forwad to next week to know what happens next. This is some of the blurb from the back of the book and a link to a video about the story :)
Three different kids.
One mission in common: ESCAPE.All three young people will go on harrowing journeys in search of refuge. All will face unimaginable dangers–from drownings to bombings to betrayals. But for each of them, there is always the hope of tomorrow. And although Josef, Isabel, and Mahmoud are separated by continents and decades, surprising connections will tie their stories together in the end.
