Recently we had our art week which meant that all the teachers had an arty activity for us throughout the week. One of the activity's that we did was making Plaster of Paris tiles with Mr S. Here is the process we used to make them:
First Mr S "Borrowed" some sand from the beach and we pressed the sand into the bottom of some ice cream containers, making sure not to crack the sand. Then we pressed toy animals, fruit and our initials into the sand, still making sure that the letters were the right way round. Then we poured the Plaster of Paris into the sand, and waited for it to dry. Last, we painted them.
